“Fabulous hotel and perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW via mobile

We stayed at Jury's Inn Christchurch for 4 nights over the May bank holiday weekend and were impressed by all aspects of the hotel. The location could not have been better, close to all the key places, the reception and bar areas were modern and welcoming, the bedrooms modern, clean and comfortable. Every single member of staff that we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The customer service really could not be faulted, lovely touches such as complimentary jam donuts available in reception every evening!
There was a minor mix up with our rooms on arrival, however the manager Paul made it his priority to resolve the issue immediately and even gave us complimentary voucher for a bottle of wine when he found out that it was my 40th birthday. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again should I return to Dublin.

My stay at the Jurys Inn was excellent. We had an overnight flight from the US and got to the Jurys Inn at about 6am, so we essentially missed a night of sleep. Upon arrival, we were exhausted and we met the night manager, Deniyl Williams. He greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. We were not supposed to check in for several more hours. We had all of our luggage and really no plans and no where to go, as everything around was closed. Deniyl was able to accommodate us and went above and beyond. For a very small charge he allowed us to check in at 6am, catch up on a few hours of sleep, and still enjoy the day in Dublin. Deniyl's kind gesture and the excellent accommodation by the Jury's Inn really saved the first few days of our trip. We did not feel the exhaustion that we normally would from missing a night of sleep from the flight, since we could check in early and catch a few hours of sleep. The room was clean and bright and had everything that we needed. I did not eat the breakfast but the coffee in the hotel was wonderful. It is in an excellent location to several of the areas of Dublin that visitors would want to see. We were able to walk all around the city since it has a great location. We had to ask the front desk at the Jurys Inn for directions and assistance a few times and every staff member that we interacted with was more than eager to help us. Overall, my stay at the Jurys Inn Dublin Christchurch exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay there again if I come back to Dublin and I would recommend for everyone to stay there!

My mother and I recently stayed at the Jurys Inn Christchurch during our trip through Ireland. This hotel was a great location in regards to the Hop on/Hop Off tour buses, walking to Temple Bar area, walking to Dublin Castle. It is right across from Christchurch and Dublina. Would stay here again or at another Jurys Inn.

I stay several times a year at Jury's Christchurch and it is always a good experience. The central heating is being upgraded (April 1015) so a little noisy during the day but not bad. Very pleasant staff and would always recommend the hotel.

The stay at Jurys Inn was good. Nice beds, good rooms, okay breakfast (but I was surprised after reading here on Tripadvisor that the breakfast was great. I thought it was average, what you expect.) with two different kinds of eggs, fried meats, bread, muesli, fresh fruit, fresh fruit salad. Very little room to maneuver when the breakfast rush was on.

The staff is okay, a bit on the chilly side, with some lovely exceptions. No room service as such, but you can go get food in the bar and carry it up to your room.

The best thing about this hotel were the surroundings. In the older part of town with lovely restaurants and areas to visit close by.

Rather stylishly appointed and right downtown, this was a reasonable value. But, the whole stay was rather buggy.

On check in, it took three attempts to get us into our room. Even then, because apparently the key system had been updated, the clerk had to let us in with a promise to bring keys by later. We were too hungry to wait longer than 20 minutes, so we went to dinner. By the time we came back, the situation had been sorted.

Next, the shower drain was clogged, which was rather unpleasant but not worth a call to the desk in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not blowing, which got rather steamy.

Finally, on checkout, the computer would not run our credit card on any terminal--had to leave with a promise they would charge our reservation amount.

Throughout, the staff was attentive and professional. But their system let them down a few times.

One couldn't pick a more centrally and conveniently located hotel.
We had stayed pre the recent revamp and always enjoyed it but since the revamp it's a truly wonderful experience staying there.......
