Stopped here for a cup of real coffee and some pastries last Saturday. It is a real quaint piece of Paris on Dublin's north side - such a treat! It's made even more authentic by the decor, the deli and the French staff. My coffee was great and so were the Danishes. The only things that were off putting were firstly the prices, sandwiches were a little steep - €6-€9 and secondly, there is a bit of culture clash with the Irish customers around coming into a cafe and being seated by a waiter and then not paying until after the meal. It seemed that the staff spent a bit of time and patience telling people to sit and assuring that they can pay later. I realise that this is the Parisienne way, but tis a bit hard for us to relax during the day in a cafe if we haven't just paid first!
