As hostels go, it is one of the best. I stayed Barnacle's about a year ago, and had an excellent experience. I was studying abroad in London, and decided to spend a few days in Dublin. The STA Travel agent booked me a pretty bad hostel the first night (can't remember the name, sorry!) so I went looking for another. This one was bright, rooms were clean, and new, and the staff was nice. Electronic door locks, bathrooms en suite. The also had a great break room with TV, couches, etc. And it was in a perfect location. If you are going to Dublin, this is a great place.
