“Superb find!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

3 of us ate here on Friday 22nd Feb. We each had a starter and main course & shared 2 bottles of wine for around €90..excellent value!! Everything was delicious - bruschetta, antipasto misto, pizza & pasta - all cooked to order..service was excellent too..we will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Dublin! It is a small and cosy place, so book ahead - you won't be disappointed!

“Unexpected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

This little gem is a small restaurant with a small menu but consistently delivers when it comes to quality.
I stumbled across this place one day and have been a lunch regular since when in this part of town. Try the steak in the evening or Pizza mama mia at lunchtime.

“Quirky and quaint. A hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Me and a friend had come down from the North to see Muse live at the O2. As we had arrived early we scouted for somewhere close-by to eat. After walking about 5 minutes from the O2 we saw a sign directing us to Mamma Mia's. The restaurant is small and has a great atmosphere, nice decor, staff were very friendly with us and each other (which added to the pleasant atmosphere) Fast and personal service. I had Bruchetta to start and a pizza for main course which were both exceptional. A true authentic Italian restaurant with exemplary service. Highly recommend! Although perhaps would be wise to book in advance as I can imagine it is normally hard to get a seat.

“Excellent restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

I often passed this restaurant and never gave it a second glance until they got a great review in the Irish Times. This is as good as the previous contributors say, true, it's very small but that means the food is cooked to order and the service is attentive. You will need to book a day or two ahead to ensure you get a table. Very reasonable prices too.
Highly recommended!

“Little place, Big flavour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

The Roman (potato) pizza here is worth the trip alone...stunningly good. No frills, excellent, simple Italian and very reasonable prices...best lunch in this neighbourhood by far. Enjoy.
