“Good location, great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013 via mobile

I stayed here for one night with my girlfriend who was visiting Ireland for the first time, and although we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel, I was delighted with the convenient location, the clean and spacious room and most of all, the charming and helpful front desk staff who gave my gf the perfect first impression of Irish hospitality.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Stayed for two nights on my first visit to Dublin. Nice location, very convenient to all the sights. The only complaint is that getting a room on the top (5th) floor subjects you to the weather's whimsy. If it's even slightly windy, you will know all about it. The walls are also a bit too thin, so you can hear the neighbors in the hallway (though not in the rooms). And the last bit of complaining, which might actually prove important in colder days - my room had a shower with the most basic (read: tiniest) of showerheads - basically, taking a proper shower was quite the challenge as the water would hit a couple of square inches of my body at a time.

That said, though, it's a charming property with very nice keepers and a great bargain to boot, so I would definitely give them another look on my next visit - I'll just make sure to ask for a lower floor and check out the shower before going in (unless they are all the same, in which case it will be a game-time decision based on weather).

Room Tip: Anything but the top floor (that's the reason for "average" sleep quality).

I've stayed at the Harding several times now., I keep going back because I'm guaranteed a spotlessly clean room and the hotel is very close to the Olympia Theatre and the Temple Bar district. The staff are always very helpful, on this trip they let me check in over 3 hours early. I had a large room at the back, very quiet and comfortable. The TV had been upgraded to a larger new model since my last visit.

Very nice property. Location is great, close to the Temple Bar district, right next door to the Christchurch Cathedral. Rooms were fine- large comfortable beds. Showers adequate. Teeny tiny TV, but since I am not on vacation to watch TV it was no big thing. Very easy to get to and from the airport. Staff was very helpful and friendly- I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Dublin

The Harding Hotel is ideally situated for the city centre but not too close to be noisy. An easy walk to all the interesting sights, good accommodation and very friendly staff. Breakfasts available on site and good food in the evening as well

The Harding Hotel is not only located next to one of Dublin's most recognizable landmarks (Christchurch) but it's also very conveniently located around the corner from the Air Link bus that brings you into the city from Dublin airport. (Air Link tickets are sold at the front desk too if you didn't buy a return ticket.)

Rooms were in pretty good shape; very clean and comfortable though on the basic side of the amenity spectrum. The staff at the hotel was fantastic and made several suggestions as to where to eat and what to do. The pub attached to the hotel seemed lively, though we only stopped in very quickly one night to see how it was.

I'd stay here again based on the location -- easy walk to everything while being far enough away from the Temple Bar area that you aren't surrounded by the revelry.
