“Great central location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

A well-located hotel with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere in the Temple Bar area of Dublin's city centre. Surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as tourist hotspots, the hotel is an ideal base for a weekend in the city. Rooms were nice, clean and secure whilst also affordable and the attached pub was a great place to end the day. Would visit again.

Stayed one night and came back again! Recommended Harding to many friends and colleagues. Wonderful location near Temple Bar but not to loud and busy. Within walking distance to all major sites. It's in the medieval section of the city so the castles and churches, pubs and restaurants are all beautiful and fantastic.

Dear Kcook907,

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of the Harding Hotel following your recent visit to Dublin.

I was delighted to read that you enjoyed your experience of the Harding Hotel so much that you have recommended the hotel to friends and colleagues.

Our excellent location allows guests to explore the city center within a few minute's walking distance but as we are located on a quieter side street you can also escape the hustle and bustle of some of the busier streets in the city center.
We are also very fortunate to be located in the Old City area of Dublin where there are several historic buildings and walls to be explored and all the nearby streets have charm and history.

We would hope to be able to accommodate you again should you return to Dublin.

With best regards,

Jonathan Hynes

Had previously relied on expensive hotels in Dublin when on business in the city. Stayed at the Harding Hotel recently and plan to do so in the very near future for a few trips I have related to work. Extremely reasonable price and a pleasant place to stay.

Harding was a big surprise, the location was great, just on the edge of temple bar, and a short walk to either Grafton Street or Guinness storehouse, and river Liffey a few steps away, The Bus from the airport, stops just outside the hotel. The room perhaps a bit old-fashioned but great, very tidy overall and a big bathroom. My room on 3. floor, facing the Christ Church Cathedral, was very quiet, and nice and warm. The Staff was very nice, friendly and helpfull, and allthuogh I arrived early, my room was allready ready for me. The Bistro was good and cheap, maybe the Continental breakfast could be a bit better, with some cheese or ham for the bread. Lunch and evening supper was very good. As a satisfyed customer I definitly will be back at Harding again.

Room Tip: Higher rooms, facing Christ Church Cathedral is very silent

Right in the heart of Dublin and the perfect spot for the six of us to stay for three days and explore this great city. A hearty breakfast in the adjoining restaurant carried us through our busy days. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff are warm and will go out of their way to help out. A definite return spot.

Room Tip: they have an elevator to make upper levels easy. Make sure you stop at Darkey Kelly`s for refreshmen...
