“A haven of peace in the city centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

The gardens are found in a popular and very busy part of Dublin City centre and yet on entering this fine garden area everything just goes peaceful and pleasant. A walk around the gardens is a welcome relief from touring around the shops and/or restaurants or bars. The monument for the famine is very emotive.

“Great Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

We had a beautiful sunny Sunday morning walk around St Stephen's Green. It was fun strolling around admiring the gardens and people watching. Could not have asked for a better way to spend a sunny hour or two!

“Really just a typical city park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

A beautiful park in the centre of Dublin. Seems to be used by the locals quite a bit. Surrounded by a Georgian neighbourhood with beautiful homes. Lots of interesting art to buy on the fences surrounding the park….similar to Hyde Park in London

“Beautiful City park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

This was a central, open gated park near town center that locals and tourists alike were enjoying. Art, waterfowl, wandering paths, benches, and a location near Grafton St. ensure that this is a popular destination.
The Hop on Hop off Buses operate from the outside Northern side.

“Beautiful gardens in the city center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

Very nice gardens in the city center. Whoever is visiting Dublin for a short period of time must visit. Also at the center of tourist attractions, Grafton St. Trinity College, Iveagh Gardens, etc. Enjoy the lake, swans and the nice house at the exit.
