“a stroll in the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

what a gorgeous park right in the heart of the city. it was lovely taking a stroll on a crisp winters day I can imagine how lovely it must be in the summer.the only downside was a couple of drunks in the gazebo chucking items at the ducks

“Lovely Park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

Lovely Park nestled in the centre of one of Dublins oldest Georgian Squares. Nice place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon after a hard mornings shopping on adjacent Grafton Street on a sunny day.

“City Park, best in Summer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Dublin has two O'Connell Bridges, one crossing the Liffey, and the other in this charming city park. Best visited in Summer, when office workers and students from the nearby Trinity College, Loreto on the Green (Girls), and CUS (mixed) hang out on the grass, improving their tans. Bring some stale bread to feed the ducks, and admire the beautifully kept flower beds. A little gem of a park, right in the middle of town. New York has Central Park, London has Hyde Park, but St. Stephen's Green is prettier than either of them. Watch for the statue of Oscar Wilde, and if you want a little puzzle, see if you can find out who lives in the only house in the park.
