“Perfect location”

Great location in the middle of the city. Close to the best shopping area in Europe, fantastic restaurants, pubs yet it is also a park

“A local parkland which will be full if there is sunshine!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

It was a lovely big parkland in the middle of town set out with a lake with some ducks that could be fed. It was a beautiful sunny day and people were everywhere enjoying the sunshine. Lots of green grass and shady trees; a pleasure to visit.

“peacefull interlude”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

You can have a quiet peacefull stroll around the park which is in the middle of a very busy city. We two saw swans on the lake, so we took photos.

“Wonderful sense of history in the gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

This beautifully kept park is scattered with statues and memorials. Literary figures and historical events preserved in stone make this an extremely interesting garden to wander around. Its atmosphere is charged with history, and gives you a sense of the greatness that has come out of Dublin, and the struggles the city has seen: all within a relaxing park where you can sit ofr hours and soak up the feel of Dublin. This to me is Dublin's heart.

“Nice park to walk or jog around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

Close to the hotels, downtown shopping and the pubs. I would stay in a hotel nearby this park like the Conrad if going to Dublin on business.
