This tiny little park is a monument to the dead of the 1916 Easter Rising. It was built for the 50th anniversary in 1966. There is a nice staue of the Children of Lir and a reflecting pool. I just wish there was a little more green and a little less concrete. Still, if one wants green, open space, Merrion Square or Stephen's Green are better options south of the river.
