“Great buskers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Witnessed the coolest group of buskers here this week. From a rock group playing electro daft punk to great urban dancers.

was a great time

“Not nearly as cool as it once was.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Grafton used to have the coolest buskers I have ever seen! Now the street performers are fewer and further between, and they aren't really interesting. There were one or two talented musicians. The "street" and shops were still nice during the day, but at night it was filled with young drunks and bicycle carts... literally. Disappointed.

“Overpriced shopping and good culture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

A walk down Grafton street definitely left me impressed with the global reach of consumerism. Most of the shops on this street will be selling overpriced goods just because they know that people will come to shop on this specific street. This is a good place to find out what you want and then find another local shop on another street that is selling the same thing for half the price. This is a great place to find the local culture when it comes to people watching, but it will be really biased by the amount of tourists walking through. I would say for those who want to save money, go down this street as a window shopping venture. Souvenirs can be bought at the Carroll's on O'Connell street near Parnell Street for a cheaper price. If you just don't care about the money then this is a perfect little place to shop. The side streets can hold some shopping gems though.

Eat outs ,pubs, gifts shops ,street musicians/performers , grocery stores ,M&S store - the Street has it all. And lots of tourists.

Loved walking through at leisure on a bright and sunny Dublin day(and the flowers!Lovely)

Well worth your time.

“Grafton Street is a Place for Shopping and People Watching”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Grafton Street is Dublin's historic shopping district. I'm not much of a shopper, but for those who are, this is the place to go in Dublin. It was also filled with buskers playing music and trying to pull in some cash. The shops tend to be trendy and expensive. Naturally, this attracts people who want to see and be seen.
