“Go for the music and Guinness!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

They have a great band on Sun nights! Make sure to go if you are in Dublin. Enjoy a pint and some traditional Irish music. Helpful tip-eat elsewhere.

“Perfect pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013 via mobile

What a perfect authentic pub. Live music every night from local Irish. Food was excellent and I thought decently priced. Best part is that it's tucked into a small corner not within all the craziness of temple bar but also close enough that you can head there after some pints.

“Great service with good prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013 via mobile

Being the oldest pub in Dublin, the building does have lots of character. It is also quite busy as you would expect however we were served nearly immediately. The lunch deal is great value for money, especially if you are on a budget. The food was good but it was the service that really shone through for us. The Barman was really friendly and when he found out it was our first day, he got out a map and marked all the pubs and restaurants that he recommended as well as the cheaper places in Temple Bar. Would definitely return.

“Not all it's cracked up to be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Maybe I'm cynical, but I feel the Brazen Head is not as great as you may think, I wouldn't ever go here unless I had someone from abroad to show around. Having said that visitors to Dublin are usually very happy with the service. Would have a look around but wouldn't stay for more than one drink.

“Oldest pub in Dublin - great character”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

Great little spot near the River Liffey - happened to stop by by chance for light lunch. Full of character and history; too cold for us to enjoy but great patio space too
