“Absolutely the best way to see Dublin.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

We've taken bike tours throughout Europe and the US and I say this tour was one of the best. Brian and Cian were our guides and they get it. They are very knowledgeable and are really personable.

The tour itself was at a very reasonable pace - could be seen as a bit slow if you are an adventure cyclists, but for the casual rider who wants to see the city like a local, this is just perfect. The single speed folding bikes are perfect for a flat city like Dublin. We spent most of the time in bike lanes, but when we were on the roads our guides took care to make sure we were safe. All participants were provided helmets and a reflective strap/harness.

The guides had a great chemistry and made the tour really enjoyable. If you are in Dublin for a week or just a day, I highly recommend you take this tour - you will not regret it at all.

“A guide with a gift of gab”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

Out tour was excellent, I do a bike tour of most cities I visit (if available) to get the lay of the land on the first day of any trip, recon if you will. Brian was our guide and he was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly, at a slow enough pace to take in all the sights, stops in many interesting places and his comments were always interesting and with great humor.
The pub he picked for a break was fun, cheap and warm, great combo.
The bikes they used were very comfortable, they were the folding kind, with smaller wheels and 18 gears which makes it a lot easier to pedal.
Our guide recommended a great Pub for dinner, due to the Guiness I can't remember the name though.

“Great storytelling and selection of sights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

I love seeing cities while biking and Dublin is no exception, and the guide Cian certainly added to that experience with great storytelling and selection of sights. My friend and I were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour that day. So we asked lots and lots of questions and got lots of great answers.

The bikes were great and we got helmets too.

We made a stop at a great pub with an open fire which made the tour extra special.

After the tour Cian gave us some great tips and we followed several of them.

“A fantastic introduction to Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

This bike tour is something I would really recommend as a way to get a feel for Dublin. I was impressed by the extremely adjustable and good quality bikes, and by the fact that safety was paramount (helmets were provided). Our leader, Bryan, was extremely knowledgeable and well-spoken about Irish history and culture. He took us on a tour of much of the central part of the city, beginning north of the Liffey and proceeding south to the Grand Canal by several highlights such as the birthplaces of George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde, St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin Castle, the Jewish Quarter, Merrion Square and the original recording studio of U2. Our group consisted of only 7 participants, and for much of the time we were on bike paths and quiet streets. Where it was necessary to ride in heavier traffic, Bryan took care to watch for our safety. The pace was easy, and breaks were taken often, both for discussion and for sustenance. Bryan was also an excellent resource for planning the rest of our visit in the city, being able to suggest good places to eat and things to do.

“We highly recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

One of the funnest things we did in Ireland. Brian, our guide, was fun, friendly and had lots of information to share. We got to see places that we likely would not have if not on the bikes with a guide. The ride was easy as well as exhillarating through a short place of high traffic. After the ride, he mapped out our route for us and then pointed out good places to eat, nightlife and a prefect pint of Guinness that were not necessarily a tourist hot spot. We highly recommend.
