“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Our family of four felt that the Dublin 1 was great for families. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so quite ample room. Everything in Dublin is small so not huge but we were comfortable. We thought this was great location, just over bridge from Temple Bar and Trinity -- 5 minute walk and less noisy/crowded than area. Huge shopping nearby and right on the street that the tram is on. Nancy was great. Recommended on of our favorite lunch spots and took care of our luggage upon early arrival.

The location is handy and that's about it (although, it's a rougher area than you would expect). Previous residents' abandoned clothes and food items were left in the hallways. Antiquated plumbing and shoddy finishes throughout. More like a hostel with private rooms than an apartment. Also beware of supplemental charges. We felt stung after being charged an extra €50 per night for two young children when we only used the beds already there.

Perfect location for accessing everything in Dublin. Very nice and helpful management. The beds aren't so great but fine for a short stay and there is some street noise on weekend nights. Other than that it's recommended.

The flat was perfect - roomy, clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything while being enough out of the central thoroughfares to be quiet. Nancy is lovely, and was grand to work with. :) Just a few yards from O'Connell Street, the Liffey, the LUAS stop, and more, plus just minutes to Temple Bar and beyond, like Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green, Merrion Square, and more. Seriously. I love this place. If/when I make it back to Dublin, I'm totally staying here again. We stayed in number 4 on the 2nd storey (US 3rd floor), four beds, two bathrooms (one en suite), a huge living room with couches and a table with chairs, and a nice kitchen with everything we needed. (Like other reviews, washing machine was out, so probably should be removed from listing, but Nancy did offer to do a load for us if needed.)

We were very pleased with our short stay in Dublin1 Apartments because of the really excellent central location (with parking space), the spaciousness of the 1-bedroom apartment in the newer building (with also a fully equipped kitchen), and, last but not least, the friendliness and helpfulness of the team.

Great location and very clean and helpful staff. Booked a triple room not knowing the sofa bed was the third sleeping area. I love my sleep and I literally didn't get 5 mins all night with the planks of wood sticking into me! Left at 6.30am to get train home- anything for sleep!
