Description: Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years of serving the perfect steak. We change our menus each season to reflect the best that Irish produce has to offer and to ensure the highest quality of local fresh seafood. We offer an informed wine list to meet all budgets and an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. We are also open for weekday for lunch serving health and tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. The way in which we guarantee the highest quality in beef in both texture and flavour is by choosing Irish beef and the highest grade of traditional breeds of cattle. At F.X.BUCKLEY our prime cuts are hung on the bone at 4°C and at 80% humidity for a minimum of 28 days. Storing meat for several weeks where it can loose up to 16% of it's weight involves considerable expertise so all F.X.BUCKLEY butchers are specifically trained for the process. The benefit for our patrons is to experience the concentration and saturation of natural meat flavours and superior tenderness. Hence why you will hear experts use terms such as "buttery and rich", and "earthy and nutty" to describe our dry-aged beef.

“Just what we needed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

After a hard day's drinking we were desperate for something ton eat. We stumbled across F.X. Buckley and this was a very pleasant surprise. Fantastic steaks washed down with a few bottles of Primitivo. Unfortunately we had probably had to much to drink to really appreciate how good the food was. We will go again. If you decide to go I don't think you will be disappointed.

“To die for.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

I recently dined at F.X Buckleys along with my friend to catch up and the atmosphere was perfect. For our starter of seafood scallops and mussels, they were to die for! Then the steaks were purely delicious. Beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff were tremendous and a big thanks to the manager and the young waiters who served us our food who were very polite. Would highly recommend the fillet steak and a side of the Cajun onions. Looking forward to returning

“Very good steaks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

A great place for steaks, we ate the 450g sirloin and the bone-in rib eye of 600g. Both cooked to perfection, in particular the rib eye that was succulent. Good choice of starters and desserts, even though we had to force ourselves for the latter. Decent wine choice as well.

Had a truly delicious steak Chateaubriand, served with medley of vegetable & washed down with a smooth Italian red , brilliant service food , well worth the money which was reasonable. Can't wait to go back .
