“You would be very hard pushed to find a better restaurant in this part of town.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Gave them a ring at 6 on a Friday approaching Christmas to see if they could accommodate 4.
No answer...booo.... will have to try another place.
Then the phone rang and it was them calling back 'Come on down'....Yaaaay!
The place is tiny. A real little cosy authentic Italian eatery with all the loudness and squeezing past others that comes with that. Personally I love all that, but might not be to everyones liking.
The four of us opted for the set menu which was 3 courses for €25. Calamari for starters and amitriciana for mains. Others at the table had mussels and pate. All very satisfied. The calamari were delicious and very delicate. Always a good sign of a restaurants calibre. My amitriciana main was very good. Two of my compadres also had it and all agreed. The other diner had Sea bass and thought it was one of the best she'd had in an age.

I finished off with a chocolate fondant...YUM.

This place comes highly recommended. You would be very hard pushed to find a better restaurant in this part of town.

“A little jewel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012 via mobile

We went into town on spec with no restaurant booking last Monday evening. This restaurant was recommended by our son. We called in and they took us immediately.
Very small but very quaint.
I ordered calamari for starters and T bone steak for main course. I could not falter either beautiful. My wife was also delighted with her meal.
We had 2 bottles of Quiante which was very but a bit expensive.
We will be back.

“Lovely little restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

We went there recently for a special birthday for my partner. I had booked months ago via menupages but subsequently confirmed booking via restaurant - would recommend same.
I had informed them that it was a birthday celebration. We had a lovely table, the food was good, service was super and it was altogether a very enjoyable experience. It was a Monday night so it could have been a bit quiet but there was a lovely buzz and a good atmosphere. Would recommend.

“A great little restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

The starter Antipasto del Vicoletto (regulars favourite) is to die for.
Unfortunately as it was so great the main course suffered for it! Main course ok but in comparison with the starter... sorry barely average.
But it is a lovely restaurant, good service, very good food and the I think all of the party of 11 enjoyed the meal.

“Molto Bene!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

After having read the reviews on here we decided to give this place a go as we just love Italian food. Showing up on a Thursday night without a booking, we were told to come back in an hour and they might be able to accommodate us, which they did. The Calamari (chefs recommendation) has to be the best calamari we've had. Great work guys.
