it's all great as long as you stay out of the hotel for most of the times during the day as the room and bathroom is very, i mean VERY small. clean and cosy though. staff is helpful
It is located in a nice area, but pretty far from city center

Good location for visiting Dublin air coach stop outside and buses into the centre of Dublin nearby, reasonable price too, room was a good size, bed was comfy and breakfast was very nice and staff were friendly.

Stayed there in early fall for five days. Located in a nice residential area, the hotel is pretty far from downtown. It takes at least 40 minutes to walk to main tourist attractions. Buses run frequently though. The hotel is very shabby in the common areas. Rooms are old and tired. The hotel is right next to a school, and it gets very noisy when kids are on their break. Windows do not close, furniture and fixtures are beyond repair.

The staff are wonderful. The young women who work at the reception desk as well as in the breakfast room are truly amazing. Kind, patient, friendly, accommodating, and professional. Their positive attitude can easily make up for the shortcomings of the hotel. The breakfast, as many have noted, was great! I enjoyed it every day. The server from the kitchen who seemed to also clean the rooms, was so pleasant. I watched her trying to communicate with two old Italian ladies who could not read the menu - she did a wonderful job.

In other words, the hotel sucks, but its people are a rare find. I will not return to it, other than to swing by to say hi to the fantastic personnel.

Stayed here for 2 nights and surpassed our expectations. Great breakfast, fantastic full Irish (or continental if you prefer) served quickly by very friendly staff. Nice big rooms, clean and always warm. Ten minutes walk from St. Stevens green and ten minutes walk from the Aviva. Air coach stop is right outside so very handy to and from the airport. Overall very pleased.

We booked 3 weeks, but we extended 1 week more.
Staff was kind, It was clean, room service was great, food taste good...
My mom was very sick, so I had to go back to my country.
But all staffs looked after my son very well.
If someone is visiting Dublin, I would like to introduce to them.
It's located at very safe area and convenient for transportation.
Thank for everything to them.b

On an
earlier than planned arrival (approx 10.30am) to drop off our luggage, we were told that two rooms were ready for new guests arriving, and the lady on reception told us that the room on the top floor would be the quieter of the two. From the outside it dosent look too bad, but as you make your way up to the second floor, cracks begin to appear. There was a good reason why our room (no 32) was ready so early, the previous guests couldn't wait to get out!!! In the shower the roof is covered in mildew. Part of the shower is actually sellotaped together. The electrics are dangerous, with cables being open and visible under the dressing table and the silver socket above dressing table actually caused the main room light to flicker and make a sizzling sound when I tried to use my hair dryer from it. The bed did not have a headboard. The good points were all the staff and the breakfast, although served down in a dungeon room was very tasty.
We decided that there was no point asking for another room as the signs were all around us that this place was shabby without the chic!
So my advice to you is pay the extra money and stay somewhere half decent, this is not the townhouse you would expect much more hostel, I'm afraid.
Ps please check out my photos to back up every point I've made.

Never came across such great and helpful staff, helped and accommodated us wonderfully. Very good room rates, great location 15 minute walk to Stephens Green, Herbert Park and Ballsbridge just round the corner as we say, breakfast very good, we will be back.
