Stayed with family - just wanted somewhere simple to base for the weekend. We were charged about 40 euro per person per night for 3 rooms, I use the term rooms in the broadest sense - more like 3 converted broom closets with no windows. The off-white walls were successful in highlighting every bit of dirt, and there was a lot.
Breakfast is included in the price. Very good you may think? Well breakfast comprised on one slice of cold toast, some boiling water and a tea bag. And we only got that one morning as the 'manager' had gone AWOL on the Monday morning! he was a very dubious character, the doorbell was constantly ringing through the night, apparantly a junkie wanting a room....
The location is great for central Dublin but alas, that is the only selling point of this dive. Overpriced. Dirty, damp and dank. And don't go asking for a receipt or paying by anything other than cash, there's more chance of that elusive breakfast.
