“THE place to stay if visiting Donegal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2012

A great B&B! A wonderful family who was very helpful, friendly, and had very nice conversations. The location is wonderful - just outside Donegal Town and convenient to all the sights and sounds of Co. Donegal. Don't miss the cliffs of Slieve League. And they gave us a great recommendation for traditional music at the Reel Inn where we spent two great eveinings of Irish music.
Our room was in a separate wing of the house. It was beautiful and very large. There was a fantastic view of the bay and countryside. It was very quiet and peaceful. And Jackie provided wonderful breakfasts and she was very helpful in accommodating my wife's dietary restrictions.
One regret - not being able to stay longer. Hopefully we will be able to visit again.

While researching lodgings for an upcoming trip, I had a brief email exchange with Rossmore Manor. When our plans changed, I wrote back to Rossmore Manor with the news that we would not be making reservations. What a pleasant surprise to find an email the next day not only thanking us for our original interest but providing several internet links regarding Donegal County! I can only imagine how lovely their customer service must be if you actually get to stay with them.

We booked one night on our Irish road trip and wished we had stayed longer. Don't be put off by the complicated instructions for finding Rossmore, the mud map is easy to follow. We stayed downstairs in the semi-detached room which was HUGE. With a bay window and chaise lounge looking over the waters of Donegal Bay we dismissed all thoughts of dinner, and instead rushed in to town to the supermarket, grabbed a bottle of wine, cheese and berries, and spent the evening enjoying the view from our window.

We recently stayed at this B&B. I would say of all the places we've stayed at in Ireland the scenery here was among the most spectacular and I would recommend it just for this attribute. We enjoyed our one night and probably both would have liked to spend at least another couple nights here. The B&B is located 5 km outside of town on a narrow country road. Our room was spacious, clean, and we had no issues. Breakfast was very nice as too. Only minor issue was that the wi-fi was a little spotty while in our room. Donegal itself is a nice small town with plenty of pubs and a pretty neat little castle that also visited. Enjoy!

My wife and I, and the couple we traveled with found this B&B to be great. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. We had a great view of the bay. Jackie, the hostess was very nice. Her kids were great.

If we come back to this area, and I expect we will some day, this is where we will stay.
