“Why not?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

I'm not a fan of Daniel O'Donnell's music but there can be no doubt than he is an international figure and the greatest star to emerge from the Rosses area. The "tour" starts with a 15 minutes video outlining some of his achievements on and off stage including his laudable charity work introduced by Cliff Richard. You then go through an exhibition of photos and memorabilia, including his platinum and gold discs, wedding outfit, freedom of Donegal and honorary Order of the British Empire. Well worth 5 Euros - a tribute to an essentially decent human being who deserves all the success he has achieved.

“Worth the extra driving”

A very well thought out museum and display of the history and career of Daniel O'Donnell. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions you may have.

“Daniel O'Donnell Visitor Center, Stepping Stone Bar, and Bank Bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This complex in Dungloe was done by Pat and Anne Gallagher. It is FANTASTIC! We can't imagine anything being done better. The whole place has a very classy touch and the details of how it was done are amazing. The Bank Bistro is beautiful and the food is spectacular. We ate there three times and were only in the area for a short time. Everyone was extremely friendly and took care of everything, always saying, "No bother or no problem." Pat said that Anne did the decorating and he did the ceiling and floor. Both are very well done, a real pleasure to see. The visitor center is very complete. Plan on quite a while to see it. You can take as many pictures as you want. At the beginning is a 16 minute video that does a good job of showing highlights of Daniel's career. The Stepping Stone Bar is also very well done and a great place to sit and visit, even if you are just drinking coffee.

“Well worth the visit if your near Dungloe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

To be honest, im not a fan of Daniel's music, but I really enjoyed the museum, it was really interesting, and I even found myself quietly singing along to the music. Well, "When in Rome / Donegal " you have too.

“Well worth a visit to Dungloe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Daniel's visitor centre in Dungloe was well worth a visit. It is a real addition to the town of Dungloe, the staff are very welcoming and the tour really enjoyable. Our trip was even more special as Daniel was there himself and stood for photos and signed autographs for anyone who wanted one. I would definitely go there again.
