Ate here at the end of June 13

Can't speak highly enough of the place , from the warm welcome to the decor or to the all important food
Myself and my wife are big fans of Indian cuisine and this really didn't disappoint
We had starters and mains , I had a tandoori mixed starter and the sheek kebab in it was the best I've ever had !
We then both had lamb in our main dishes and the fork could glide through the meat it was so tender, my wife had a sagg dish and I had the madras which was just perfect.

We where staying in ballybofey and only made the trip based on trip advisor reviews and very glad we did !

So if your a fan of the cuisine and in the area it is a must

Thank you

“Our favourite restaurant - brilliant food always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

We try to visit Chandpur on our many visits to Donegal to treat ourselves to the consistently delicious food. Last time we were in Donegal, the weather was lovely, sunny and warm (doesn't happen very often!) so we opted for a take away dinner instead of going to the restaurant. We were not sure how this would work out, but all we had to do was telephone our order then collect. Very efficient. The food was the usual high standard - Lamb Railway Curry was delicious as well as the Byriani, Chicken Tikka, Korma, Naan Bread. All melt in the mouth and we were able to sit in our friends' garden and dine al fresco complete with lovely wine and tiger beer. I wanted to write this review as I thought that that take away was the same high standard and generous portion sizes as the restaurant and is now another option for us to enjoy this phenominally good food. Well done to the Chandpur team.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

So delighted to have such a special restaurant in Donegal Town. Great food, really tasty starters and great selection of main courses. The staff are welcoming especially Susan at front of house who always greets you with a big smile. The atmosphere is always warm and relaxing. i am a regular visitor to Chandpur and the food is consistently good, prices are reasonable, so good value for money. If a visitor or living locally this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

“Favourite restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Chandpur is my first choice place to eat everytime . Susan and Rana are warm and welcoming. The food is always delicious. Prefering a vegetarian diet, the choice and variety on the menu is a great way to mix & match and share side dishes with friends. There's never a problem if you have special dietry requirements. Chandpur is great for an intimate meal for two or a party and the prices are more than reasonable!
