“Afternoon lite snack”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

Friendly staff and table service. Enjoyed an open faced wheaten bread and smoked salmon sandwich and a pint. Very good and not expensive.

“Service not the best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

Tried this restaurant last week. It has a good selection of food to choose from. Portion sizes were decent, prices are in keeping with the other restaurants around the town. Had a brilliant view of the harbour/ bay.
However the staff certainly let this place down. Waiters/ waitresses were Very brusque and none of the usual friendliness we have encountered in Donegal. More so, hurry up, eat up and pay up!
From what we observed they were like this with the other guests as well. It wasn't just us!
I doubt I will return to this restaurant again because of this.
For what we paid for our meal, I would expect much better service.

“Food nice, service not so good”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

The food here was fine, the fish I had was very fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff could not be bothered however and I was not impressed with the service. Probably wouldn't go again, but I stress not because of the food, the chef and kitchen staff are obviously good.

“swordfish was great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

We ate at an off hour. The manager served us and provided for us in every way. The swordfish meal was great. We would go back to this restaurant.

“Holidays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Good food, I got salmon the children had fish which was excellent plenty to eat, Guinness went down a treat, the price was right for a wee family and the service was good. There is a lovely walk way outside which leads to the river boat.
