“Not To Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

Every trip to Gallghers is as pleasant as the last, the warmth and friendliness of the staff and surroundings is sure to make you feel right at home. As for the food i find it a constant battle as to what to choose from the menu as everything so far has been delicious. Would highly recommend a trip to Gallaghers for for a relaxed yet very satisfying meal or drink!!!

“Sure and it's the place to be in Cork!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

Whether on a quiet Sunday afternoon or during the height of the Cork Jazz Festival, cozy Gallagher's Pub, just outside city center, is a place to relax, to be comfortable, and to see and be seen. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is subdued, the beverages are reasonable, and the food is classic pub fare stepped up a notch. Once you enjoy the Guinness pie, you will be back for more! Although the menu offerings are few, they well-chosen and well-made. And the patrons are so friendly that if there are no seats when you arrive, they will make room for you and include you in their party. Sure and it's the place to be in Cork!

“Great Food, Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Spent weekend in Cork, met up with friends in Gallagers for drinks and food. Superb atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and fabulous food. So good that a few of us went back the following day for lunch. All day breakfast was incredible. This place is a real gem especially for the over 30s !

“Best ribs in Cork and attentive staff. Brought 93 year old mother in law. Her words "Gorgeous".”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

We arrived at 4pm not expecting much since it was after lunch and before dinner. We were offered a drink. I had a lovely herbal tea. We decided on an early dinner and we asked about the ribs. The staff said they were quite good. We had chips ribs salad and I requested coleslaw. Staff was not certain if it was available but returned with home made coleslaw. The portion was large so we took it home and ate it the same night. The music was gentle and shortly after families started coming in. What a hidden gem on McCurtain street.
