“This place should be more famous”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

The irony of this tourist attraction is it's location. It is what makes it so scenic, yet it is the small roads and distances that make it less visited that it should be.

Firstly the car park is massive. There is enough room to swing a bus.
Because of the low visitor numbers on the day I was there at least it was a pleasure to look around, there was no feeling of being "pushed along" and there was no inhaling you breath to sqeeze past screaming children.

A good attraction overall, the only improvement would be reducing the prices of the gift shop. Maybe they could actually increase the entrance price to fund that. It was only 6 euro to get in.

“Breathtaking scenery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

A gem of a place to travel to with plenty of walking to be done! Bring your hiking boots and camera of course :-) The cafe is open for a spot of lunch and you can buy gifts in the Gift shop. Great experience had by all.

“Brilliant”

It was only €6 in and you get serious bang for your buck. The views are incredible and we were lucky as we were there on a glorious and calm day.

“Breathtaking views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I have been to Mizen Head twice and was amazed by the views both times! There is a bit of walking involved in the visit but well worth it. The displays were very interesting and well laid out. This attraction is a must if you are in the West Cork area. I would recommend going early as it got quite busy after lunch. Would also recommend bringing a pair of binoculars!
