“A Mediteranian Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

This place doesn't look anything out of the ordinary but when you step inside you will be in for a treat. The service is good and food excellent. Very different food and an explosion of taste from eastern Europe/Mediteranian. You can see food being prepared and it is nice and warm inside and very clean. My mum would be a fussy old style eater but she loved the choice of food too. Try the Mese plate for something different!

“Great Food Great Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

Went here for meal during the week, its a new-ish restaurant in Cork and its well worth a visit. Tasty menu, friendly staff and the decor is trendy yet homely, its great when you can see into the Kitchen and they have a big pizza oven, we will definately be back.

“Yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

Nosta is a relatively new restaurant in Cork and a welcome alternative to the usual steak n chips variety. I've been 3 times recently with work colleagues, friends and family. Each group loved it. Dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty, chefs can be seen in the open and spotlessly clean kitchen. I love the meze starter for two and the lamb skewer dish is fab. Staff are very attentive and premises are very nicely decorated with nice mood lighting too. Price range excellent and lunch menu very competitive. Will definitely return

“Great menu and potential but was average for us”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

There were 10 of us celebrating a friends recent wedding. The decor of the restaurant in very well done and the kitchen is completely open which is great to see. The menu is diverse and immediately I was looking a 3 different dishes I wanted to order, I had the calamari and quattro fromaggi pizza, it was fine but not anything special. The feedback from the rest of the group was that their food was average/bland. Overall I still liked it and would try it again hoping to get a little more in terms of execution on the potential which this restaurant clearly has.
