“The best little cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Great cafe on the north side of cork city, really friendly staff and is family run too. The home baked goods are delicious and its a great place for a nice iced drink after strolling around cork on a warm day.

“lovely little place to stop off”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Is just a nice little local cafe that provides a welcome place to stop and have a drink. Lively decor and really lovely staff. The menu could do with being a bit more extensive to be truly outstanding, but well worth a visit if you're in the area. A good place to stop after the Butter Museum or Firkin Crane.

“Little gem of a cafe! 5 star.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

Visited this lovely family run cafe when in Cork for the weekend after visiting the Butter Museum in Shandon (it's better than it sounds!)
I was delighted as the other reviews say, with the fantastic range of homemade cakes, breads, soups etc Having a sweet tooth I opted for a yummy home made muffin & iced coffee, was fantastic (got some for take away too) Bargain are the mini muffins great for kids only 50c!!!
Staff were genuinely lovely & chatty & gave us a few ideas off the beaten track for our weekend in the Rebel county! :)

“Fresh and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Nice friendly place, think it's a family owned spot. Was staying around the corner and popped in here after visiting Shandon bells for a cup. The coffee was nice but nothing to write home about , their cakes were mmmmmmmm!! I had slice of chocolate and my partner had a seriously tasty cupcake!

“friendly and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Found this cafe whilst wandering around at Shandon and thinking about visiting Butter Museum (we didn't). Excellent range of food and drink and we chatted to the owner (we think it was) for awhile. Liked it so much and liked the milk shakes too that we went back following day. Simple, clean place that does what it says on the tin.
