€62.50 for a room for a night, booked within 5 minutes of arrival!! Free wireless internet (!!!!!!! in CORK!!!!) Nicely presented rooms with LCD tv's.

Some building work going on out the back, but I was not disturbed at all.

Would have struggled to find all of those factors at the usual suspects. Jury's, Clarion, Holiday Inn, LISTEN UP - Business users need in room internet access. FOR FREE! Especially if you have the gall to charge €150 a night +. You could learn from the Lancster. I will not stay anywhere else in Cork now.

If you're only staying overnight and you don't need to unpack your bag then you don't need drawer space.
As we were staying for three days it would have been nice to unpack things otherthan those that needed hangers and put them in a tray or two.
Breakfast OK, not convinced The Full Irish was cooked to order, the upper surface of most items was crisp/dry whilst the undersurfaces were moist.
The re-fubishment work was noisy first thing in the morning and the windows needed a clean.

The Lancaster Lodge was excellent. Very modern and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly. Location is great, 5 mins walk to the city.
Breakfast was lovely, great choice.
Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Booked here for two main reasons; walking distance to the town centre but with parking. Good size room with everything you would expect; beds very comfortable. A bit of noise from inconsiderate guests at 3am but probably what you'd expect on a Friday night! Breakfast well above average.
