“Found a wonderful restaurant in cork - lovely food friendly service, don't miss the opportunity to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

I visired cafe serendipity with my two teenage daughters. We had three meals, food was delicious, service was excellent. While we were there other customers complemented the restaurant on its desserts and requested the recipe it was so delicious.
I am definitely going back , don't miss the opportunity to visit cafe serendipity.

“Don't walk on by...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

...but stop into this hidden treasure. Not even a year old (opened in November 2012) this restaurant is cosy, but modern with outstanding and inventive meals at reasonable prices for Cork (aka the Gourmet Capital of Ireland). The choice varies from week to week - a great reason to come back! The staff are welcoming and friendly and enjoy a chat with the owner if she is there when you visit.

“A gem that we discovered close to home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

We found this delightful spot on our way home from town to our B&B. We were most impressed with the tasteful way in which the restaurant was outfitted. The service was superior, as was the food.

“Excellent small and friendly restaurant, lovely food and very attentive staff. Home cooked lunch was very tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Small and friendly with everything cooked to order with a good choice on the menu. We had lunch of home made soup with home made soda bread which was the best we have ever tasted.

“Not the best meal but the best bread”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We had a light dinner at the Serendipity and it was excellent. What was really outstanding was the brown bread. It was absolutely first rate...a prize winner in any competition, and made on the premises we were told. Just down the street from the Garnish Hotel, the Serendipity rounds off a true welcome to the traveller in Cork.
