“Small but friendly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

nice and cool inside on a warm day! lovely stained glass windows
helpful chap gave me a bit of a history and explanation before I walked round.
entrance fee is a bit expensive (Euro5) as it is small and you won't spend more than half an hour walking round, unless you find something of particular interest to occupy your time.

“Great Gargoyles”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

I paid the 5 euros to go inside but the best part of this church on the outside. It is Gothic Revival with Saints and cautionary tales in stone all around the doorways. Recommend a good telephoto lens to capture it all.

“Soaring spires with many hidden gems in the carvings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Situated on one side of the city centre this is definatly worth a visit. It may prove slightly steep for thiose with walking difficulties but it is worth the effort. Look at the cottages on the approach if walking from the city centre. The doorways and doors steps one can just imaging being scrubbed in years gone by as a demonstration of the house proud owners keeping their red block steps clean.

“Nice church, excellent explanations, don't miss the cannonball!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Well annotated church, interested to visit, only built in mid-1800s so not old but very well explained inside and outside. Certainly worth the visit. Don't miss the suspended cannonball inside.

“Very beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

I just passed by and took some pictures but I will surely visit it next time I will be in Cork.
There is a very nice garden outside where you can enjoy a nice view of the city.
