It's a Jury's Inn, so the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the hotel was located close to a lot of the great bars and restaurants in Cork.

I stayed at Jurys Inn Cork for 1 week. I was lucky enough to have a room on the top floor and away from a big student group, therefore, it was tolerable. My colleagues who stayed in the same hotel but in a different section could not sleep for a few nights because it was too noisy. I stayed in Jurys Inn Dublin before and noticed that the one in Cork has a much lower quality (even though they charge more or less the same price). The place is old, food was not so great, and they take a lot of big student groups in when we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful, though.

Room Tip: Just in case, ask if there is a large group/student group staying in the hotel. Make sure your room...

This is a comfortable modern hotel. The reception area, breakfast room, bar and restaurant are all a reasonable size and well laid out (though the décor is a bit bland). The bedrooms are a decent size, with a very well equipped shower room. The buffet breakfast has a comprehensive choice, which includes black and white pudding to go with your bacon and sausages, and also porridge. Service during our short stay was excellent at all times. We ate in the bar one evening, our Irish stew was promptly served, well presented and ample in quantity. The only downside about this hotel is its location. Although the central part of the city is only a few minutes’ walk, this involves crossing heavily trafficked roads, and the hotel is on the river quay amidst areas of rather rundown industry and port facilities.

I stayed at the Jurys Inn Cork in May for a weekend in. The hotel is very central, located just up from the bus station and a few minutes walk from the shopping area. Cab from the airport cost about €18.

The hotel is a little bland and dated, but clean and comfortable. Service was good and breakfast was very nice with a good selection of items.

After a two week stay at Jury's, Cork, I cannot praise this hotel too highly.
Staff, especially reception, are exceptional and never failed to please. There were a few quirks which were quickly rectified, and measuring it against my Belfast Jury and Dublin Christchurch Jury it is a no contest. Location is great, view is great, and apart from the usual Jury's WiFi inadequacy I would recommend this most highly.

Room Tip: have view of the river.
