“Main Course Dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Dislike: €13.95 for the Burger and Chips, Very Small burger, and 20 chips in a little round service dish

Like: While it was small, the burger was cooked perfectly :-)

“Acceptable Pub Grub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Visited this bistro as part of a large group for a family occasion.
The positives are the service and price - the waitress was superb. Attentive to all our needs, and very friendly and cheery. Prices are also extremely reasonable.
Food is tasty, and you'll find it hard to fault the quality.
On the negative - the menu isn't great. Not much of a selection, and not very varied either. The website menu is much more extensive, so was slightly disappointed on the night.

“Family Lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Had the choice of either the bar or carvery menu and it was decided that it would be the carvery menu and so off we went to the restaurant. The selection was very good and something for everyone.I had the roast beef and the others had fish haddock I believe. The food was good the service was to be fair only average in the friendliest department asked by waiting staff for our desert selection waited a long period and certain requests were not met due but was resolved very quickly i.e. hot tart came cold and the teas/coffees mixed up but the lackluster shone through pity could be a nice location for a family lunch and not expensive but should not be at the cost of customer service.
