The location was a short, easy walk to the Blarney Castle, the largest Wool Mill in the country, and a bus stop that would take you right into Cork. The owner, Anne Hennessey, is the sweetest woman. She was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and was even able to give us directions to our next stop in Galway. Being at the Blarney Vale made our experience worthwhile and unforgettable, and I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

Blarney Vale is a gem of a B&B, located within walking distance of both Blarney Woolen Mills and Blarney Castle. We have been taking clients there for many years, always stopping on the way from Waterford to Killarney for quiet, cozy rooms, relaxing settings, a nice little lounge area and a grand breakfast -- all for a great value. We recommend Ann's 'toasted special.' Shop at the Woolen Mills till 6pm, then arise in the morning to explore Blarney Castle, opening at 9:30am, before the tour buses arrive. We recommend the Muskerry Arms for either good pub grub or the restaurant upstairs for fine restaurant food. We highly recommend Blarney Vale.

I stayed at the Blarney Vale Bed and Breakfast this past summer with friends and thought it was a great find. Anne Hennessy is sweetheart and a wonderful hostess. You are right down the road from the Blarney Castle. You could walk there from the B & B. I will recommend this place to everyone and would stay there again.

Anne was a wonderful hostess who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We travelled with an infant and she was very receptive to us staying with her. The breakfast was super and location was very ideal for all of the sites in town. This was by far our best stay out of entire trip.

We have stayed at the Blarney Vale each time we visit Ireland and it is like our home away from home. Anne and her family are gracious, hospitable and helpful. Blarney Vale is in a great location. A five minute walk from Blarney Village, Blarney Castle, Blarney Woolen Mills, Muskerry Arms and many other shops. The rooms are clean and roomy and Anne offers a great breakfast menu and no matter what you select it will be delicious!

Anne was a warm and wonderful hostess. She was very helpful with suggestions and directions. Breakfast was delicious with many choices even for a vegetarian. The rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Hostess was fantastic and very helpful. Town was a short walk, very enjoyable after a day of driving. Castle was within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone.
