Exposed stone and brickwork and wooden beams give the interior a rustic charm, while fresh local produce sets off the brasserie-style dishes on the menu in the upstairs restaurant. All sporting events including Championship hurling and football, Premiership games, Champions League, Six Nations and the Heineken Cup are all shown live in the bar. The resident DJs and live music will have you dancing and with the late night bar extension from Thursday to Sunday, Knox's keeps the lively and friendly crowd buzzing late into the night. Knox's is the ideal entertainment venue with Live Music five nights a week as well as DJs, pub quizzes and lots more. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the bar for all customers.

“A Pub like no other”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

A busy pub with plenty room. Has 2 other bar areas upstairs which overlook the main bar. On the Sunday night we visited there was a live band playing which were very entertaining and had a wide range of songs to suit all tastes. The bar was decorated with old memorabilia of an Ireland long gone which made the place very unique indeed. The bar was well run and would definitely return again on my next trip to Ennis.

“Fabulous 3 course meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

We recently had our Son's Confirmation meal at Knox's, we arrived at 5 p.m. and we got served quickly. We had a fabulous starter, main course and to top it off the desert was brilliant. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, they were crunchy and the food was piping HOT. The staff were efficient and friendly. Overall it was a fantastic meal and a great atmosphere. Would definitely go back there and would highly recommend it for family celebrations or parties.

“Classy pub, great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

I had lunch at knox's pub. Ordered cod and it was really delicious. It was deep fried and the lightest fried food I have ever had. It came with a salad and balsamic, chips and good tartar. The pub itself is beautiful. Very clean, classic style and lots of seating. I am sure it fills to capacity. The bartender was helpful and nice. Great place to visit!

“Great Restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

The setting and menu are perfect in the upstairs bistro in Knoxs. I has the soup of the day with brown bread to start, it was extremely tasty and the bread was lovely and fresh. the steak was cooked to perfection and i am extremely fussy about steak. i ordered chips with my steak but they didn't come at first and the problem was sorted by the manager who was polite and courteous. the prices are very reasonable and the service was outstanding. I'd recommend it to anybody.
