“great bfast, pie, cookies, and take away lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2011

We had loco moco and omelette for bfast which tasted great and the portions were huge-we could have split it. Grabbed some sandwiches, salad, and pie from the frig for lunch, put them in the frig of our room at Turtle Bay, and ate on the beach. It was so good and much cheaper than eating at the resort.

Also got a cup of choc chip mac nut cookies to bring back to VA and they were awesome!

“Pies breakfast.one word yummyyy is how my 3 year old describes it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2011

We went to this place to Try the "Famous " Haupia Pies. Instead we discovered a whole new world to Breakfast. Teds special and the fried Rice Omelettes are the best we have ever eaten and accompanied with the skillet potatoes.. Not a very fancy place but the food was great !!!!
Since we were living at the north shore this was our breakfast joint. The pies were amazing too .Highly recommended to stop if you doing the circle island tour or just visiting the beautiful beaches of the north shore. The Garlic Shrimp is also considered to be good though we didn't try it but heard people talk about it .
all in all a place we would recommend

“One of the best places to eat Kahuku area!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011

If you're staying at Turtle Bay you won't have many choices, unless you are willing to drive. This place has to be the best spot to eat a must!!! They have hawaiian style food at an affordable price. They are also generous on the portions. If you're like me and want to taste the local food, go here!

“Get the pie!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011 via mobile

Chocolate haupia pie. Thats what they are known for. Dont bother getting a slice, just buy a whole pie because its cheaper and you definately want seconds.

Stay away from buying lunch there. Its expensive and again its called Teds BAKERY.

“HANDS DOWN, BEST PIE EVER!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

First, let me say that I LOVE pie. Any dessert really, but pie is the ultimate. And I've eaten a lot of pie. But the pie at Ted's Bakery in Sunset is THE BEST PIE IN THE WORLD!!! And to be more specific, the chocolate haupia pie. If you've never had (or heard of, for that matter) chocolate haupia pie, do yourself a favor and go to Ted's. It is a little piece of heaven right here on earth. Creamy chocolate filling, layered with silky coconut cream and topped with loads of fresh whipped cream is what I'm talking about! There are other pies there, and they are super delicious, but NO ONE makes the chocolate haupia quite like Ted's. Simple and delicious!!!
