Crowberry is a modern, lovely B & B on the windswept plains of the Isle of Lewis about 10 minutes north of Stornoway. We stayed in the Glamour Room, with a king size bed, lovely sitting area with tea and cookies provided. The bathroom had a heavenly shower and thick towels. The views from the window were amazing. Sunset occurs around 10:30 pm in July, and we watched the clouds and sun move and change into beautiful colors and shapes. Our dinner tasted like it was fresh out of the bay, and we had an opportunity to choose what we wanted for breakfast the next day. Food was excellent. Innkeepers Lisa and Ali are lovely, helpful and happy.

A lovely little hotel made all the better for the personal touch applied by the owners. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and make a real effort to make your stay enjoyable. I was the only guest there on the night I stayed but the whole breakfast table was still laid on for me. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for stay. the location is peaceful and scenic and the little extras catered for on the information left in the room make all the difference

Ali & Lisa are offering a deluxe experience in a remote setting
at an affordable price.
They are new to the business and deserve to do well.
We unfortunately could only stay 1 night but would love to return for a few nights and really spoil ourselves.
The Crowberry is as good as it gets,so go try it out.

Just returned from a fabulous long weekend on Lewis staying at Crowberry B&B. I can't say enough good things about our stay - Alisdair and Lisa were the perfect hosts attending to our every need. The house is very clean and modern and the rooms are very comfy. A nice touch is the ability to get an evening meal at a very reasonable price. I usually stay in hotels, but this far exceeds anything any hotel on the island could offer by a country mile. Being located only 10 minutes from Stornoway Crowberry is ideally located for exploring the island and has two great beaches right on the doorstep. Crowberry may not be the cheapest B&B on the island, but the attention to detail and the quality means that it is a great option for the discerning traveller.

I went to the Isle of Lewis to carry out university research and absolutely loved everything about the place.

Crowberry made my stay even more special. The rooms are absolutley luxurious, although i was there on my own i had a wonderful king size bed and views out onto the sea. The interior design is lovely, and feels very high quality.

The hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, they really are nice people and have stayed in touch since my trip. They did everything to make my stay extremely enjoyable. The food is also well presented and delicious. Every night i had something local, such as mussels and scallops.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone - it is quite simply superb.

And as for visiting the Hebridies - I cant wait to return. The people are very friendly, the scenery is stunning and everything feels so relaxed. If you are looking for a quiet get-away or cycling/walking holiday then this is the place to go.
