I visited here for lunch on a warm August afternoon and experienced the same great service, friendly welcome and delicious fresh food as always. To sit in the beer garden in the sunshine, munching on delicious prawns, the freshest of salads and probably the best home made scone I've ever eaten, whilst chatting with the lovely friendly landlady, Laura, is what sums up all the best Islay hospitality has to offer. Great value, great welcome , quick service. In total contrast to the exceptionally poor and pretentious offering at the Harbour Inn in Bowmore a week later at nearly twice the price ,where I was laughed at by the management for explaining why I wasn't happy with my meal on any level and was told they couldn't see what they could do about it. Think they need to visit An Tigh Seinnse for a few tips on good honest food and customer service. If you want to try delicious seafood in friendly surroundings with a great wee bar - don't go to the Hrabour Inn please - got to Portnahaven instead and you won't be disappointed .
