“Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

Very interesting museum, brilliant history of Hamilton. Great day out when raining and cold for all the family.
Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained while you read the facts.

“very interesting visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

First time visit to the museum having driven by it many times. Very impressed with the amount of local history facts and displays. Visited with young kids and they also were kept amused with the displays and things to do. I would visit again as there was a lot to take in.
The staff on site were very helpful and welcoming.

“Not a lot to it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

Me and my wife had went to see the robot exaptation that has been given a lot of publicity locally and nationally
What an utter disappointment.
3 robots if you were lucky and we left saying was that it .
Lots of stuff about the palace and the war but if you are not interested in that there is very little to keep you entertained.
They do from time it time do tours of the nearby Hamilton mausoleum that is interesting

Only plus is its free and the staff are very friendly and helpful
