“An excellent weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

We had a great 2 night stay togehtter with our 2 friends. Our room was in the annex on the ground floor looking over the promenade to the sea and was very comfortable and well equipped. The ensuite was modern the towels nice and big and fluffy and a large heated towel rail made sure it was cosy. We had dinner included on the first night and all of us really enjoyed our meal. The scottish breakfast on Saturday was disappointing - the bacon and black pudding were a bit leathery- however there was a good selection of cereals, yogurts, juices and jams and spreads. Tea and coffee and toast were plentiful and on the second morning the Scottish breakfast was very good. We found all the staff very pleasant and helpful. There is ample parking and the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station and the main street.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review - it is most appreciated. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and apologise for the breakfast on the Saturday - I've had a word with the chef concerned.

I hope we will have the opportunity of welcoming you back again to the Parkstone.

Kind regards.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights DBB, very reasonbly priced at £177 for the two of us.
Room was clean and large, the staff friendly and the 3 course evening meal was lovely. on both nights!

My only small cripe was checking out, very perfunctury and abrubt, I felt there was no customer service or "did you enjoy your stay?" or even "thank you for choosing us"
but a minor grumble overall

Have stayed here twice, on trips from Prestwick airport. This is how hotels should be run; seamless good service and attention to what's best for the customer. The Parkstone isn't a modern hotel, but it's comfortable and roomy. If weather permits, you can sit outside and have an uninterrupted view of the Firth of Clyde and Arran. You can park your car at no extra charge when you're flying out and it's a 5 minute taxi journey to the airport. There is a night porter and the hotel is geared up to guests arriving/departing early and late. The food here is very good and the small restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. Would that every hotel in the world had the same customer service ethos.

Room Tip: Have stayed in two rooms overlooking the sea.

A group of 5 couples had a very enjoyable stay at the Parkstone Hotel, Prestwick. All of the rooms were of a very high standard and the food and staff were excellent. Nothing was a bother to the staff and the setting of the hotel, looking to the sea, was just beautiful. The weather could have been better, but that's not the fault of the hotel, although the latter part of Saturday turned out lovely and was perfect for a stroll along the seafront. All in all a repeat visit could be on the cards.

My wife and I, and four friends and wives, returned, earlier this afternoon, from a very enjoyable weekend at the Parkstone Hotel, Prestwick.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. The rooms were very clean, the dinners and breakfast were of a very high standard, especially the dinners. The only fault I can think of is that the kippers ordered by one of our friends for breakfast this morning were a bit over-cooked. A minor hickup to my previous statement.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive and were very approachable to all of our requests.

The only downer was the weather but that was not the fault of the hotel. However, after a somewhat wet Saturday morning and the first part of the afternoon, the weather improved to allow us to remove bunnets, hoods et al.

The people working in the shops and hostelries of the town, were very helpful and friendly.

All in all, I would certainly recommend the hotel and town for a visit.

Hotel was booked for us by my sister in law. We had a lovely 1st floor room with a sea view. Each and every member of staff we encountered in our week long stay was courteous and helpful. The only negative I can mention is wifi signal was poor but manageable on the first floor but apparently not available hotel wide. The walls also a bit thin could hear people snore from upstairs and a bit of noise of folks coming in and out. The hotel is beautiful and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Golf course also very close. There was a nice continental breakfast option each morning as well as several cooked breakfast options. Additionally there is a lovely restaurant on property with a sea view. My husband & I enjoyed a 3 course dinner and watched the sun set on the last day of our holiday. Would most certainly stay again as well as recommend to family & friends.

Very nice hotel, we asked for a sea view and what a stunning view it was, staffs were very friendly, approachable and helpful; the duty manager even showed us to our room and took our case. The evening dinner was delicious, A choice of about 5 or 6 dishes per course, I am very particular about ordering salmon it has to be just cooked and mine was perfect, those with a sweet tooth will love the deserts. Breakfast was also perfectly cooked and is served to you, hot breakfast and also the buffet is very varied. “I will be back” as Arnold says.

Room Tip: Sea view recomended
