We stayed at Graig Tara during October half term and I cried for a week -We had travelled for 6 hours to get there and I wish I had just gone abroad.
The Chalet we were given was horiffic - On the first night we had to have our 8 year old and baby in bed with us as it was so cold. The loft hatch was open and the carpets were wet through amd to top it all off they dident move us until the next day.
The only saving grace for this park are the funstars who entertained the kids for hours on end.
As one last note this park is said to have been renovated in the brochure but thats the biggest joke ive heard all year!!!!!
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Great for:• Airspace indoor sports facility • Golfing and water fun • Sea views and sunsetsThis whole park slopes gently down toward the sea meaning that from certain points, you can see the waves rolling in from the Firth of Clyde. In calm weather we suggest walking down to the beach and going for a paddle, or taking a pedalo out on our boating lake. We’ve also got a lot to keep you entertained inside too, like our indoor multi-level pool complex, our new Airspace sports hall and two entertainment venues.
