The facilities were excellent - clean, comfortable with all the little extra touches which added to our enjoyment. The decor was really lovely - elegant but still comfy. Really rated the huge choice of menu options for breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my fresh grapefruit and my pancakes when I finally decided what to order!

One of the best guest houses I have stayed in. Being honest it was better than some hotel's I have stayed at. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was second to none. Fantastic scottish breakfast, and I'm English. Very modern and catered for the family very easily. Will recomend to other's. Will be going back next year for a revisit, hopefully with better weather.....In summary - Fab.

We were delighted with our stay at the Beechwood. Friendly reception, lovely room and very handy for getting into Ayr and to the airport. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast - great choice and beautifully served - I very much enjoyed my smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Also impressed with wifi and internet access for guests - great for checking flight times.

i stayed at the beechwood overnight with my 11 year old daughter while where in ayr for a family 70th birthday party. we found the guest house to have a warm and friendly atmosphere and very high standards. the breakfast menu was varied and offerred a good selection of choices of which my daughter had pancakes and syrup. i had the traditional scottish fayre which was delicious and well presented. The owners teenage daughters where helping with the service that morning and where charming and efficient giving the whole experience a lovely family atmosphere.

We stayed just the one night at the Beechwood, stopping overnight on our way to the Isle of Skye. Having been in contact with David and Shona prior to our arrival to advise we would be arriving very late at night, they accommodated our request and arrangements were put in place to ensure we could get into the guesthouse easily. We booked beds in the Arran Suite which were comfortable, spacious and very clean. An excellent hotel and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

We have stayed at the Beechwood Guest House for the last eight years. We cannot speak highly enough about the welcome we receive, the quality of the accommodation, standard of the food and the impressive way in which Shona and David ensure that every guest enjoys their visit.
