We stayed on the adjacent Camping and Caravanning Club site, which if you are familiar with the Club was the usual high standard.
We are lifetime members of the National Trust, so this enables us to enter NT for Scotland properties as well. Good job as there is so much to see and do at Culzean that we ended up going back 5 times during our stay. This alone would have cost us £200+, so definitely worth it.
The Castle and grounds are pristine. The gardens are well arranged with such areas as the walled garden that deserve a leisurely stroll no matter what the time of year. The Castle was stunning and there is a 'spot the Lego character' quiz for the little ones to keep them engaged as well!
Back to ourside and there are a couple of amazing beaches that we had almost to ourselves. This was due to the overlap of English and Scottish summer holidays.
We cannot recommend this camping site and property / grounds enough. Wonderful place.
