“5 Star ***** Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant last weekend, and it was exceptional.

We had booked a table and we were shown to our table by a very polite and cheery gentleman.

The service we received from the staff was brilliant.

The menu was huge and had alot to offer and the food was delicious with large portions.

The atmosphere was perfect, although the restaurant was busy, the conversations between other people around us didn't over power. There was plenty of space and the place was spotless.

We had a 3 course meal each, and everything was cooked to perfection. I honestly, have no hesitation in saying I will be back in the near future. This was one of the best, if not, the best dining experience I have had ever.

Great place to eat.

What a wonderful weekend in sunny Ayr! I booked the fabulous executive double and our party had double and single rooms. The executive double was luxurious and the biggest and best bathroom I've ever seen :) The weekend was a college reunion and the choice of hotel was the perfect! The friendly and welcoming staff were second to none- the food delicious - (breakfast and lunch). Can't fault the hotel- lovely cosy bar which was very welcoming after a night out in town! The location is perfect- walking distance to the town, the beach and park. Thank you for a wonderful time! We will be back.

6 of us stayed there recently as we were going to a wedding in a different hotel. we were so glad we picked this hotel. From start to finish it was great. So friendly, couldnt do enough for us. Rooms bright big and sunny. Food excellant. Couldnt say enough good things about it. From the owners to the cleaners they were all fab. 3 mins from beach and golf course. 15 mins walk to centre of town. Ideal for rest and relaxation. Would highly reccommend it.

Room Tip: double room we had was sunny big and quiet eventhough it was just off road. My mum and sister had tw...

Our party of eight stayed here at the start of the "Lochs and Glens" cycle route. It was so comfortable and the food and beer of such a high standard that we were quite reluctant in the morning to set off! The rooms are large and well equipped, and the staff most helpful and attentive. The food was way above our expectations, and it was good to have a decent local real ale on draught. Best of all, this hotel is astonishingly good value.

Just returned after a two night stay with the family. We turned up at the door having been let down by the standard of another hotel in Ayr and were shown to a family room which was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. The staff and owners were all very friendly and bent over backwards to assist. The food was excellent and the bar and restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Its only a short five minute walk to the seafront and Belleisle Park is across the road which is great for the kids to kick a ball around in. I would have no qualms about recommending this hotel to anyone, can't wait to return.
