We stayed here to attend a family function nearby (having spent the previous 2 nights in a Premier Inn in Aberdeen). We had stayed here before and were happy to return, as our last stay had been very pleasant.
This hotel in centrally located, clean, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are pretty standard but immaculate. Size was fine for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) and the kids beds were comfortable. It was Glasgow Fair weekend, so there was a bit of additional aircraft noise (the hotel is near Glasgow Airport) but it wasn't unbearable. It did mean thought that we couldn't open the window - but the receptionist had warned us on arrival that the rooms were hot (there was a heat wave at the time) and let us know that if we needed fans or chilled water etc we only had to ask.
Unlike our previous 2 nights in Aberdeen, the food and welcome at the adjacent eatery (I can't remember the name - but it's right next door) was excellent. The staff were welcoming and couldn't have been more accommodating, The food was very tasty and plentiful and there was a good range of options. We weren't rushed at all. Coffee and tea were topped up on request. the restaurant was immaculately clean, including the toilets, even though it was early in the morning - so full marks to the chefs, waitresses and cleaners (who must have been working nightshift!)
We felt the stay was good value and would certainly return.
