The property is a beautiful historic home with large, comfortable rooms and updated bathrooms. It is located near the historic center of the town but has plenty of parking space. The owner is a most amiable person, very helpful and friendly. She runs a very neat and clean operation. The garden is quite pleasant. The rooms are well appointed.

Room Tip: The rooms we saw were all excellent

What a wonderful experience! An absolutely beautiful house, full of character, in a great area of Paisley, with the greatest host, Susan. Nothing ordinary, from the napkins to the sheets, to the breakfasts, everything is impeccable. Susan treats you in a respectful manner, not stringent but superbly accommodating. The rooms, bathrooms, the dining room are magnificent. It is a real gem and it has left a mark in our hearts. It is simply the best. Paisley is certainly worth visiting, with the abbey its biggest asset. All in all, a memorable stay!

Stayed 2 nights at Scotscraig prior to returning to Australia and loved it. From the moment Susan met us at the door we were made to feel very welcome and this continued throughout our stay with Katy looking after us also. We stayed in the Fleming Suite with its king bed and large bathroom, just looking out to the evening sky from our bed was lovely. No traffic noise, beautiful surroundings, a dream to be in. Short train trip into Glasgow to visit the sights. As a previous reviewer mentioned the only negative thing about our visit to Scotscraig is that we had to leave! Thank you Susan and Katy

I can not say anything negative about The Scotscraig House because it as 100% perfect! A gorgeous home build in 1901 it's huge but homey. Ms Fleming, Michael (and even wee Harry Potter) were all so welcoming and accommodating. She makes you feel right at home. We stayed in the Fleming Suite and the room and bathroom are huge so you have plenty of room to spread out. She even supplies wash towels (none of the other B&Bs we stayed in supplied these). Very close to the Paisley train station to take you to your destination of choice (Highland Experience Tours picks up very close to Glasgow Central).

The worst thing about Scotscraig House was that we had an early flight and had to leave at 7 am! Mrs. Fleming has a fabulous home and is an exquisite hostess. Our room, the Fleming Suite, was amazing, with its huge proportions and king size bed and the bathroom was also very large and of course everything was spotless. Breakfast was in the beautiful dining room, and Mrs. Fleming was very accommodating to our early departure, and the airport is only about 10 minutes away.

We will definitely stay at Scotscraig House again!

Room Tip: only 2 rooms, both wonderful, so you can't go wrong!

Tried the usual places in Glasgow, but to no avail. Concert in or something! Tried further afield, and found this little gem of a place! Everything immaculate, nothing was a problem for mrs Fleming, even an early breakfast. As I had a meeting in Glasgow. Brekkie superb. Running out of superlatives.fabby, go and see for yourself!

Thank goodness we couldn't get into our original choice to stay in Glasgow, otherwise we would have missed the amazing experience of staying at Scotscraig House. It was worth the very short drive to Paisley from Glasgow(or short train trip) and as you enter the lovely drive up to the house, you get an idea of the beauty of this property. I guess you could describe the house as a Scottish Manor House.
Our hostess, Susan, was an absolute delight and from the moment she opened the door, it felt like we had known her for years. She even insisted on doing our washing when we inquired about laundrettes in the area. Our room, the Fleming Suite, took our breath away with its huge proportions and king size bed and the bathroom was also very large and of course everything was spotless. Breakfast was in the beautiful dining room and Susan would make you whatever you would like. We enjoyed her slow cooked REAL porridge followed by eggs, smoked salmon, sausages, whatever!!
This B & B is certainly the best we have been to and we can highly recommend a stay at
Scotscraig House when in Glasgow.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely although we really enjoyed staying in the Fleming Suite
