Arrived by car but unable to find a parking space. This hotel is used for parking by holidaymakers flying out from Glasgow Airport so not enough spaces for guests when the hotel is busy. There is always the option of a field next to the approach road - if you don't mind being up to your knees in mud!
Reception area ok but the corridor to the room was in an awful state. Carpet fitters, joiners and painters would be a good help.
Room was clean but the curtains were worn through. Had a not so wonderful view of the rubbish skips out the back - complete with foraging squirrels!
Best thing was the staff - no complaints there. And the breakfast was good.
I've no doubt the hotel was really nice when built back in the 70s, but I don't think much money has been spent on it since.

Stayed here overnight with dinner and parking included, before an early flight out of Glasgow Airport.
The parking was allocated in the main car park ("If you can find a spot!") and was very well lit. The dinner was very good and set us up for a quiet, if short night before leaving early in the morning. Beware of the mini-bus, if you get one of the two we had ....sadly lacking in suspension and a bit "rattly", but we got there on time, and they were very efficient in communicating with us on our return, if not too punctual, as we were standing in the rain for about 15 minutes, but it was Hogmanay after all!!! However being a bit "picky" it is not a very good start to a holiday, especially when we were picked up at the other end in a Mercedes Taxi!.

“Fine For A Night”

We booked this hotel as we had an early morning flight from Glasgow Airport. The deal of £70 for evening meal, room, breakfast, parking and transfers seemed excellent value. The place was fine for a single night - good sized and reasonably clean rooms, large foyer area, food was surprisingly good and transfers in good time (you get a voucher and phone number to call the bus on your return). Some of the drawbacks - the parking is in an unlit muddy field next to the hotel ( wellies are a good idea), a group of youths toking up at the entrance, our room door lock was broken (we had to ask for the porter to let us back in any time we left the room). Only reason to use this place is for flights from Glasgow Airport.

“Forget the 70,s style building”

After having read some of the previous comments about this hotel we were in two minds whether to cancel our booking. We are very glad we did not. We had booked the Parking and Dinner Package.
We were surprised by the size of our room which was very large and clean, with great views over the River Clyde. Bedding and towels were spotless. The bathroom included all toiletries required for an overnight stay. Tea, coffee etc plentiful.
The dining room was very pleasant and great choices on the menu. Food was beautifully presented and delicious.
We had time in the morning for a full Scottish Breakfast which was served buffet style with many choices, this also was very enjoyable.
We should like to say a big thank-you to all stafff, from the car park attendant, reception, dining room right through to the mini bus drivers who took us to and collected us from the airport.
We have stayed in more expensive hotels than this one before flying off on holiday but we will definitely stay in the Erskine Bridge again.

Terrible - would never never recommend this hotel, not even to my worst enemy!

Arrived and cleanliness of the room, location of room (by lifts), cig burns on the bedding, window jammed open and room full of flys meant had to change rooms, next room ok but bed side lamps did not work - bit better than 1st room but not much.

Bar staff like talking amongst themselves instead of catering to customers. Waiting staff must have just walked in off the streets!? Not able to move starter plates before bringing the main meal, unable to remember orders, forgetting to order drinks you have asked for, and more!

Only saving grace for this place is literally the breakfast and evening chef's. Bar food good but tables not cleaned enough, lazy staff.

Rooms ridiculosly warm, no air conditioning - believe it or not needed!

I could go on and on and on and will do in my written complaint to the hotel.

Needs major makeover and I have now realised why no-one asks you is everything ok - because they obviously know it is not!

Anyway stay at your own risk - do not say you have not been warned!
