We all enjoyed our meal here, good food, attentive staff, maybe a tad expensive, but overall very good.

“Delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

Went here over the weekend. Ordered Chicken Madras and Chicken Jalfrezie with Mushroom Rice and two plain naan breads. Food was delicious and very reaonably priced. Enjoyed it so much we returned for takeaway Chicken Pakora the following night. These were also delicious!

“Very Tasty Chicken Shashliq”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

I had prompt efficient service and my chicken kebab tasted great. I really enjoyed my meal. It's not the best shashliq I've ever tried but it was still very good.

“ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Stopped in here for meal on way home from Glasgow to Inverness. Party of 4 all had chicken mains. Chasni sauce was concocted out of sweet mango chutney - "overdone" - just too much Palak was awful, dry greasy stodge. Common factor that let both dishes down was the truly awful quality of the chicken - cheapest of the cheap brine injected blast frozen Halal stuff that usually originates in the Netherlands. Mains were dearer than you'd expect to see in other Indian restaurants by around £2 per dish. The combination of price and poor ingredients just not a good advert for the place boys - you're going to have to up the game a wee bit!!!!
Wouldn't rush back, handy though it is half way up the A9. Let's take the hint Prince of India and reverse the trend for bad reviews.!!!!!!!

“Worst Indian food I've ever had....”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

We treated ourselves to an Indian meal while on holiday in Pitlochry... Wish we hadn't bothered.
Veg pakora - 5 small pieces was all our portion consisted of and it was brick hard. It resembled the type from supermarkets and deli Counters. We ate 1 piece each
Chicken pakora - 6 bit size nuggets was the portion and it was the opposite of the veg pakora, this was greasy and soggy. Again we ate only 1 piece each.
Chicken Bhuna - what can I say, except it was like no other bhuna I've had.... I had a few bites and wasn't impressed. The Naan bread was also a letdown. Again this was like the type you can buy in supermarkets... It was definitely not made in a tandoor.
Chicken Patia - was like a madras.... There was no sweetness to the dish at all.
The highlight of the meal was the mango chutney and raita with poppadoms!!

We will never be back to the poor imposter of an Indian restaurant
