A very friendly, welcoming and clean hotel which offers good fresh food. Our second visit and not disappointed. Will go again having enjoyed our stay so much.

We have just had a holiday in the Highlands.
The weather was disappointing but our accommodation could not have been better.
We found the Tigh-na-Clioch Hotel online - and what a find!!!
This small, family run hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in; and that includes some of the largest, well known establishments around the world.
We were welcomed on our arrival by the owners; to whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble.The en-suite rooms were bright, well furnished and immaculately clean; as was the comfortable lounge and conservatory; which looked out upon a view to die for.
However, the best part of our stay was the wonderful food. The owners of this fine establishment had previously run a successful restaurant and their expertise was very apparent. Each day we were presented with a comprehensive menu from which we could choose a three course dinner. Each day the menu was different: all meals were freshly cooked, using fresh ingredients (none of your microwave from a plastic bag here); accompanying vegetables came fresh from the garden.
A more than adequate wine list and a choice of Malt whiskies were readily available.
And all at a price you would not believe!!!
Anyone looking for something better than "above average" would do well to try the Tigh-na-Cloich. I promise you won't be disappointed.
We will certainly be back again.

I have stayed at Tigh-Na-Cloich a few times in recent years and have always found it to be a very nice hotel. It is clean, well decorated (not shabby!) and comfortable.

The food was all local produce and tasted great, with imaginative menus providing a wide choice.

The owners have always been friendly and I would say that nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

It's an ideal base to come back to after a days walking or sightseeing and I would recommend the hotel.
