We had initially considered staying in Pitlochry and I'd looked at the Tigh Na Clioch hotel then but wondered why there where no reviews at that time. We decided to go elsewhere in the Highlands but after a poor first night, revisited Pitlochry. The Tourist Information office suggested Tigh Na Clough and it appeared to be fate; we ended up there after all.
It was a great choice. Our room was small (and the owner admited it was the one room without a view); that's probably why it was available at the last minute. We stayed three nights and were very glad we did. Wonderful breakfasts with great company; we actually ended up spending quite a lot of tme chatting with other guests. The location is ideal; off the main street but only by a block or so with a pleasant walk through the gardens to get to the shopping, etc.
The owners were very pleasant and we had a couple of wonderful visits with Helen. The one dinner we had was also quite good and we probably would have had another if we hadn't enjoyed the Moulin Inn so much (a great pub a little ways away).
If you are looking for a small hotel with breakfast and clean comfortable accomodations, Tigh Na Cloich would be a good choice.
