We stayed at the Beinn Bhracaigh for one night to explore the smallest
whisky destillery in Scotland, Edradour. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the owner of the Beinn Bhracaigh, Alf. He helped us very much with directions and good tips about other regional sites and highlights and where to find good places to have dinner.
Our room was spotless with a great view though the ensuite bathroom was a little outdated. But Alf made sure that it was just a matter of time until all bathrooms would be renovated - they had just moved to this new location and at the time of our arrival had not finished renovating the old wing of the house. We could get a glimpse of the freshly renovated rooms and bathrooms and they were very tasteful and spacious but unfortunatly were all booked before. But our room was comfortable after all: as we were out all day and in the evening, for us it was important that we would get a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed in a quiet environment which was all perfectly met. And the breakfast was wonderful- with everything from cereals, croissants, fresh fruit salad with gigantic rasberries, and a choice of full Scottish breakfast, pancakes to porridge. We enjoyed our (too)
short stay very much!

We are delighted to advise that in December 2007 an extensive refurbishment of all bathrooms was undertaken.
