We spent our Easter break in various hotels/B&B's in Scotland and this was the best by far. Lovely spacious comfortable rooms with a view. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. The apple pancakes are a must. This was a haven in amongst all the cold and the snow. I imagine it would be great in the summer with its lovely garden and conservatory. We would choose Craigatin House again and thoroughly recommend it.

Under new management since our last visit in 2007, our second visit to Craigatin house was just as perfect as the first.

We stayed in Room 3, a deluxe double, with 6ft bed and fine fews of the surrounding hills. The room was large, spacious and nicely decorated.

Breakfast is served either in the breakfast room or adjoining conservatory. Breakfast is of a good standard with plenty of choice if you dont want a traditional cooked breakfast.

The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the centre of town.

Looking forward to our next visit!

“Fantastic Place,”

Craigatin House & Courtyard

Mar 25, 2008

We booked up for a last minute weekend away late on Friday Afternoon, and were ready to sacrifice some quality due to the time restrictions.

The opposite could not be more the case. We arrived late and were greeted by an enchanting looking building, beautifully lit, and couldnt wait to see inside. ( the website looked good and we were keen to see the room quality)

Our deluxe room was large, spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was immaculate (The shower was amazing!). A flat screen TV and lovely view over the garden grounds topped everything off.

Breakfast in the conservatory was superb, and the whole place had a relaxed atmosphere that really helped set the the tone for a great relaxing weekend.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, with recommendations of where to go in town and around the area.

Im not usually one for writing reviews, but i was so impressed and so enjoyed my stay, that id happily recommend this fantastic place to anyone

This guest house was flawless. Beautiful rooms, pleasant staff, great scottish breakfast.

When i know of someone visiting Pitlochry, i tell them to look no further than this place. A great advert for Scottish Hospitality.

This is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast establishment, with refreshingly modern interiors. It is less than 5 minutes walk along a flat roadside to the centre of Pitlochry and there is plenty of parking.

We stayed in room 14 for a couple of nights in November 07. The room was spacious, the furniture was modern and of good quality and there was plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable.
The bathroom was small but very neat and the shower was great and quite powerful.

It was a really really cold while we were there and we were glad that there was good heating in the room which we had control over.

The House and Courtyard is very charming and the garden is lovely and has a patio which I imagine will be really nice to spend time on during the warmer months.

The breakfasts were delicious and you should definately try the Polish apple pancake !

It is lovely walking back from Pitlochry in the evening when it's dark to see the trees to the entrance of the courtyard lit with fairy lights.
