“If don't like heights stick to visitors centre!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

Husband found this too precipitous on previous visit so just went to visitors centre. Staff were friendly and display informative. One disappointment was cafe had run out of soup even though still lunchtime.

“Walked from Pitlochry - Beautful and interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

We walked the Killecrankie trail from Pitlochry. Start at the visitor center where you can see the map outside. The walk takes you through the golf course, sheep pastures, conifer woods, winds up through the mountains along some logging trails, under a bridge, and eventually to Killecrankie. It took us about 3 hours to walk there. Of course we stopped often for pictures. Soldier's Leap at Killecrankie was neat to see, and the Visitor Center there is worth a visit. Schedule all day if you plan to walk from Pitlochry, or you can check the bus schedule and hop on a bus back to Pitlochry from Killecrankie. That's what we did.

“Pleasant joyful experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

I attending a lunch with my family, the service was pleasant and attentive. The food was great, I had a starter, main was fish and chips was great and coffee. The surrounding are amazing, located in a large house with a large garden, near to river and falls is a great out of the way place.

“nice walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

this walk is steep at the beginng if starting from the tourist office but is a lovely level walk afterwards to the Garry bridge. You can also lengthen this walk by 3 miles right to Pitlochry but otherwise it's a there and back walk.
